■General Copper Foil Wire Copper foil wire is produced in our manufacturing process by drawing electrical copper wire down to sizes ranging from 0.18mm to 0.025mm, and then rolling that material to create long products in a foil shape (flat wire) of specified sizes. This foil is then spirally wrapped around a core wire, resulting in a conductor characterized by flexibility, pliability, and lightweight properties. Up to four layers of foil can be wound, and the necessary number of strands can be twisted together. Combinations of copper foil (various platings, various alloys) and core wires (such as polyester and aramid) enable resistance to bending, heat, and flame. ■Ultra-Fine Copper Foil Wire Copper foil wire with an outer diameter of less than 0.11mm is referred to as ultra-fine copper foil wire. We can manufacture down to a minimum diameter of 0.07mm.
